Sick and Tired

I’m tired… I’m tired of working full time as a nurse. I’m tired of someone else determining how much I make and how hard I have to work and what time I need to be in. I sick and sick is always followed by tired! I’m a registered nurse by day. I’ve been a nurse for over 15 years. It’s hard work. I love it, but my body is getting tired. Real tired. I’m trying to figure out a way in which to balance all aspects of my life so that I can actually have time for me. I’m a minister, so also spend a good portion of my time and energy trying to further God’s Kingdom. Don’t forget about my time as a mother and wife… Then I have the nerve to want to start my own business.

I truly believe that my business is going to be the way that I can have more time to myself. My goal is to work part time at the hospital this time next year. I truly believe that the opportunity that Soul Purpose has afforded is my link to financial and time freedom. There is something about this company, Soul Purpose Lifestyle Company, that is different. The vibe, the energy is different. The people I have encountered and the products themselves are unbelievable. I’ll go more into the products soon. Getting it started…

Okay, I’ve been doing a lot of talking, but now is the time for a life altering weekend. I’m going to work my business like my life depends on it. And it does… I need to get this thing up and going with momentum, so that I can be home with my family. I am working over 48 hrs this week at the hospital. I’m at the end of the semester and I have had to preach and teach this week. I’m overloaded and overwhelmed. I’d be okay if I didn’t have to work full time…

Well, that’s where Soul Purpose comes in. I know that this is the vehicle that is going to make my dreams come true. I want to be around my family and friends so bad. I am tired of living like this. So, this is my plan of action. I’ll continue on with my journey to freedom… Stay tuned!!

Time to make a change

I am tired… Tired of living paycheck to paycheck. Tired of someone telling me what to do, when to do it and how to do it. I am about to take my life to another level. What is YOUR why?

When you  venture into becoming an entrepreneur, you must have a compelling “why.” You need to have a reason why you are doing this thing. You must have a vision, a purpose, a SOUL PURPOSE! The more I think about this opportunity, I more excited I get. I am so tired of punching a clock, allowing someone else to determine how hard I have to work and what I have to do. Tired of someone else determining how much money I can make and when I can make it. I’m tired y’all!! I thought I was tire with another company I used to work with. This time around, I really am not playing. 

When I get discouraged and lose my focus, I turn back to my why. It’s funny, but my job has been crazy lately and I thank God for giving me a reminder of my “why.” I worked my tail off this week, running around pushing beds and stretchers, wearing lead aprons all day. (I work in a hospital in x-ray.) My body was exhausted. Then Friday I went to a Happy Feet Hour in Baltimore, experienced some reflexology and was able to fellowship with other Soul Purpose entrepreneurs. It strengthened me spiritually. Some I had met online and had never met physically. Another was a soror and a preacher. We all had our own “whys” but we all are using Soul Purpose as a vehicle to get to where God would have us to be.

Why am I doing this?

It’s funny. There are times when I ask myself, why am I trying to have another business? I’ve done this before and after the novelty runs out, I fade to black. Well, this time around I feel it is something different. Soul Purpose has such potential and I am so excited to be a part of this. I can just feel the energy.
