When you venture into becoming an entrepreneur, you must have a compelling “why.” You need to have a reason why you are doing this thing. You must have a vision, a purpose, a SOUL PURPOSE! The more I think about this opportunity, I more excited I get. I am so tired of punching a clock, allowing someone else to determine how hard I have to work and what I have to do. Tired of someone else determining how much money I can make and when I can make it. I’m tired y’all!! I thought I was tire with another company I used to work with. This time around, I really am not playing.
When I get discouraged and lose my focus, I turn back to my why. It’s funny, but my job has been crazy lately and I thank God for giving me a reminder of my “why.” I worked my tail off this week, running around pushing beds and stretchers, wearing lead aprons all day. (I work in a hospital in x-ray.) My body was exhausted. Then Friday I went to a Happy Feet Hour in Baltimore, experienced some reflexology and was able to fellowship with other Soul Purpose entrepreneurs. It strengthened me spiritually. Some I had met online and had never met physically. Another was a soror and a preacher. We all had our own “whys” but we all are using Soul Purpose as a vehicle to get to where God would have us to be.
